PATERSON, NJ.- On Monday, July 5, 2021, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that at approximately 2:39 a.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021 Members of The Paterson Police Department were advised that a 20-Year-Old Male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
While Police were responding to The Medical Center, a 22-Year-Old Male Paterson resident arrived at The Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Based on the initial investigation, it was determined that the victims were in the area of Park and Madison Avenues in Paterson, New Jersey when an unknown assailant began shooting at them.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
