WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Saturday, July 17, 2021 Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer announced that a second investigation is underway into a Bank Robbery that took place on Friday July 16, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The suspect is a white male, who entered the Shoprite located at 542 Berlin Cross Keys Road in Winslow Township, New Jersey. He is alleged to have placed a some items into a shopping basket and then approached the teller at The PNC Bank, which is located inside the supermarket.
The man the passed a note to the teller demanding money in specific denominations. In the note, the man threatened to shoot the teller, if he did not comply.
The suspect is described as having a thin build, bald, with a beard. He was wearing a blue tee-shirt and blue jeans. The man left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and entered a Dark Colored Hyundi SUV, which was parked in the supermarket parking lot. The man and the vehicle were capture on the supermarket surveillance video.
