Early Morning Shooting In Paterson, New Jersey

AN EARLY MONDAY MORNING SHOOTING IN THE AREA OF CARROLL STREET AND HARRISON STREET IN PATERSON

     " A 26-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey Man Was Injured In An Early Morning Shooting."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Monday, July 19, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that approximately 12:02 a.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021, Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Fulton Street and Summer Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of shots fired.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene in the area of Carroll Street and Harrison Street in Paterson, but no victim was found.


     A short time later, The Paterson Police Department were notified that a 26-Year-Old male, Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.



     Based upon the initial investigation, it was determined that the victim was in the area of Carroll Street and Harrison Street when he was struck by gunfire.


    The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available as it is released.
