A 58-YEAR-OLD MONTVALE MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES

MONTVALE-NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Kenneth MacPherson, 58, of Montvale, New Jersey on Sexual Assault and Child Endangerment Charges. The arrest the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and Montvale Police Department under the direction of Chief Joseph Sanfilippo.
On Tuesday, July 7, 2021, The Montvale Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit, regarding an allegation of a Sexual Assault of a minor by MacPherson. An investigation was initiated by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and The Montvale Police Department.
During the investigation, it was determined that MacPherson Sexually Assaulted the minor at a residence in Montvale, New Jersey in the past. An additional minor was identified, who also was Sexually Assaulted by MacPherson in both Montvale and Hillsdale, New Jersey.
As a result of the investigation, on Friday, July 16, 2021, Kenneth MacPherson was arrested and charged with Three Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
MacPherson was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
