TWO MEN WERE KILLED IN STABBING EARLY THIS MORNING IN PATERSON, NEW JERSEY

PATERSON, NJ.- On Monday, July 5, 2021, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that at approximately 4:19 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021 Members of The Paterson Police responded to 455 Totowa Avenue in Paterson in response to a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located two victims, Jamie Hernandez, 44, of Paterson, New Jersey and Johnny Jimenez, 36, of Paterson, New Jersey, lying in the parking lot of 430 Totowa Avenue, suffering from apparent stab wounds.
Paterson Fire Department Emergency Medical personnel made attempts to revive the victims without success. Mr Hernandez and Mr. Jimenez succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
