A NUTLEY MAN WAS ARRESTED BY PATERSON POLICE AFTER MOTOR VEHICLE STOP

PATERSON, NJ.- A 35-year-old Nutley man was arrested by Paterson Police, on Wednesday, May26th, following a motor vehicle stop.
Paterson Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale, reported that while on patrol, Detectives assigned to the City's Special Investigations Division. Were in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard, when they observed a white Jeep Cherokee commit a motor vehicle violation at the intersection of Putnam Street.
During an investigation following the stop, Detectives recovered a .45 caliber handgun and four bags suspected cocaine. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody without incident, and transported to Paterson Police Headquarters, for processing, he was then transported to The Passaic County Jail. Where he will be detained pending a first court appearance.
