25-Year-Old Woman Indicted On Aggravated Manslaughter For Killing A Woman While Driving Drunk

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, a grand jury sitting in Atlantic County, New Jersey returned an indictment against Alexia Glass, 25, of Mays Landing, New Jersey, on a charge of first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter and other related charges in connection with causing the death of a 22-year-old Mount Holly, New Jersey woman.
According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on March 28, 2024, shortly before 12:30 a.m., members of the Hamilton Township Police Department responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle crash on County Route 322 in Hamilton Township.
Upon arrival, Police Officers during the initial investigation determined that a Toyota Carolla, operated by Glass had struck the rear of a car being operated by Yoland Pacheco, 22, of Mount Holly, New Jersey, killing Ms. Pacheco.
A subsequent investigation revealed that Glass was driving intoxicated and at a high rate of speed when she struck Ms. Pacheco's vehicle.
