29-Year-Old Paterson Man Was Hospitalized After Being Shot Tuesday Night On A Paterson Street

PATERSON, NJ.- Following a violent weekend in the City of Paterson, a 29-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man finds himself hospitalized after being struck by gunfire late Tuesday night on a Paterson Street as gun violence continues to plague the residents of the City of Paterson.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, just shortly before 11:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call on a report of a shooting in the area of 10th Avenue and East 23rd Street in the City of Paterson.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 29-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment. During the initial investigation, Police Officers located evidence of a crime scene at the location.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as authorities continue to search for a suspect.
