44-Year-Old Paterson Man Succumbs To Injuries After Being Shot On A Paterson Street Sunday Night

PATERSON, NJ.- A 44-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man dies from injuries at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center following being struck multiple times by gunfire Sunday night in a third Paterson, New Jersey shooting.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Sunday, June 2, 2024, just minutes before 9:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a shooting in the area of Chadwick and Weiss Streets in the City of Paterson.
While Police Officers were responding to the scene, they learned that that a man, identified as Twahee Howard, 44, of Paterson, New Jersey had arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. Shortly after arriving at the Medical Center, Mr. Howard succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Passaic County Authorities have not reported if Mr. Howard was injured in the earlier Chadwick Street shooting, or if the earlier shooting was connected to Mr. Howard's death.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time, more information may become available once released by Passaic County Authorities.
