THREE JERSY CITY CONTRACTORS FACE ADDITIONAL CHARGES IN THEFT SCAM

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- The Owners of Janvi Hotel Supply, LLC, Based out of Jersey City, New Jersey, who were First Charged late last year with Bilking Customers out of $200,000., were Taken into Custody on Tuesday and were Additionally Charged with Scamming an Additional Six Victims out of $440,000.
According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, following an ongoing Theft by Deception investigation, Viral Patel, 38, and Priyanka Patel, 33, both from Jersey City, New Jersey, and Pratik Patel, 35, of Ramsey, New Jersey, were each Charged with Six Counts of Theft by Deception; and Six Counts of Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Deception.
All Three were Arrested at The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office in Jersey City, New Jersey. Following being Processed on The Charges the Three were released on a Complaint Summons pending Future Court Proceedings in Hudson County Superior Court.
All Three were First Arrested and Charged in Late December of 2023, on Theft Charges Totalling around $200,000. As the investigation continued Detectives identified an Additional Six Victims. The Six Received and Paid Invoices for Janvi Hotel Supply, LLC for Contract Work that was Not Performed or went Unfinished. One of The Victims provided Supplies to Janvi Hotel Supply, LLC, and never Received Payment. The Total Theft from the Six Victims amount to more than $440,000.
