DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING A CAMDEN DOUBLE SHOOTING THAT KILLED ONE AND INJURED ANOTHER

CAMDEN, NJ.- Camden County Authorities are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a Camden Double Shooting that Claimed the Life of a 32-Year-Old Camden City man and left a 43-Year-Old man Hospitalized Saturday Night.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, just shortly before 10:30 p.m., Members of The Camden County Police Department responded to the area of The 1600 Block of Mount Ephraim Avenue in Camden City after receiving a Multi-Shot ShoSpotter Activation.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found Two Men both having Sustained Gunshot Wounds. Due to the nature of their injuries, both men were immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital by a Camden County Police Patrol Vehicle.
After arriving at The Hospital, One of the Men, Algie Harmon, 32, of Camden City, New Jersey succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 10:43 p.m. The Second Victim, a 43-Year-Old Camden City, New Jersey man underwent treatment and remains hospitalized in stable condition.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
