KEASBEY, NJ.- On Thursday, a jury sitting in Middlesex County, New Jersey found a 40-year-old Sicklerville, New Jersey man, and former high school principal guilty on charges in connection with a 2014 Keasbey, New Jersey Sexual Assault Cold Case.

According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, a Middlesex County jury found Danny McEaddy, 40, of Sicklerville, New Jersey guilty on charges of First Degree Kidnapping; First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Second Degree Burglary; Second Degree Sexual Assault; Third Degree Aggravated Assault; Third Degree Criminal Restraint; and Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact.

The conviction stems from an incident, when on September 21, 2014, members of the Woodbridge Township Police Department responded to a residence in the Keasbey Section of Woodbridge Township, following receiving a report from a woman that she had been sexually assaulted by an unknown man who had unlawfully forced his way into her apartment in Keasbey, New Jersey.

During an extensive investigation, and based on DNA analysis of biological samples found at the crime scene, Detectives were able to identify McEaddy as the man who forced his way into the woman's apartment and forcibly raped her. On March 23, 2023, McEaddy was located and was taken into custody for the Sexual Assault.

During a week-long trial before the Honorable Pedro J. Jimenez, Judge of the Superior Court of Middlesex County, Middlesex County Special Victims Unit Section Chief Lynne Seborowski and Assistant Prosecutor Nicolette Spallanzani presented testimony and evidence to the jury showing that Danny McEaddy was the individual that sexually assaulted the woman in her residence.

McEaddy has been scheduled to be sentenced on July 25, 2025, in Middlesex County Superior Court, at which time McEaddy will face the potential term of up to 25 years in New Jersey State Prison.
