15-Year-Old Ridgefield Girl Killed After Being Struck By A Motor Vehicle

BERGEN COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING A SUNDAY NIGHT FATAL PEDESTRIAN CRASH

RIDGEFIELD, NJ.- A 15-Year-Old Ridgefield, New Jersey Girl was Tragically Killed Sunday Night while crossing an Intersection in Ridgefield, New Jersey.

     According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, shortly after 7:30 p.m., Members of The Ridgefield Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call Reporting a Motor Vehicle Crash involving a Pedestrian at The Intersection of Shaler Boulevard and Edgewater Avenue in Ridgefield. 

     The Pedestrian a 15-Year-Old Ridgefield Girl was pronounced deceased at Hackensack University Hospital a short time later.

      The investigation remains active and ongoing and is being conducted by Detectives of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Ridgefield Police Department.
