West Deptford, New Jersey Man Charged With Endangering A Teen

33-YEAR-OLD WEST DEPTFORD MAN CHARGED WITH ENGAGING IN SEXUAL CONVERSATIONS WITH TEEN

     "Jeremy M. Slickerman Has Been Charged With Having Sexually Explicit Online Conversations With A 14-Year-Old Monmouth County Teen."

FREEHOLD, NJ.- Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported, that a 33-Year-Old Gloucester County, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody and Charged in connection with Engaging in Multiple Sexually Explicit Online Conversations with a 14-Year-Old Teenager.



     According to The Prosecutor's Office, Jeremy M. Slickerman was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged with One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 


     The Charge stems from an investigation that was initiated in early March after Members of The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office High Tech Bureau's Internet Crimes Against Children were notified by The Middletown Township Police Department in reference to the Alleged Sexually Explicit Online Conversations involving a 14-Year-Old Teenager.


      The investigation determined that Slickerman had been communicating with the Teenager on Several Online Chat Platforms, including Xbox Live, Skype, Discord, and Chat IB. In their conversations, Slickerman encouraged The Teen to Travel to a Park near his Home, where they could meet. Slickerman also encouraged The Teen to engage in Sexual Acts with Relatives, Neighbors, and Classmates.


    On Friday, March 15, 2024, assisted by Members of The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office Search Warrant Entry Team and The West Deptford Police Department, Members of The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Located and Arrested Slickerman without incident at his Home.


     Slickerman used The Username "Blue Jay" on Chat IB and The Username "Teencho" on other mentioned online platforms.
