52-YEAR-OLD CHESTER MAN SENTENCED TO PROBATION FOR CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONTACT

MORRISTOWN, NJ.- According to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, on Friday, March 15, 2024, Raymond Ziesse, 52, of Chester, New Jersey was Sentenced to a Term of Probation for Criminal Sexual Contact.
The Sentence stems from an investigation into an inappropriate Sexual Relationship between a Mount Olive Karate Instructor and his Mentally Impaired Adult Student. Mr. Ziesse is The Owner of The Mount Olive Karate Academy located in Flanders, New Jersey. Ziesse was Indicted by a Morris County Grand Jury in December 2023 on Charges that arose from a Sexual Relationship between himself and his Former Adult Student at The Mount Olive Karate Academy's Teaching Room.
The Student was an Adult with Cognitive and Developmental Disabilities. The Sexual Conduct is alleged to have occurred on various Dates between May 2018 and August 2018 at The Academy.
On February 9, 2024, Mr. Ziesse Entered a Plea of Guilty in Morris County Superior Court to One Count of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact. Following his Guilty Plea Ziesse was Scheduled for Sentencing. On Friday, March 15, 2024, The Honorable Stephen J. Taylor Judge of The Superior Court Sentenced Ziesse to Two-Years of Probation.
