63-YEAR-OLD DELAWARE MAN INDICTED FOR DRIVING INTOXICATED IN 2023 FATAL CRASH

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, a Grand Jury sitting in Atlantic County, New Jersey Returned an Indictment Charging Kevin Wilson, 63, of New Castle, Delaware in connection to a June 24, 2023, Fatal Crash that Claimed the Life of Ada Roman, 36, of Vineland, New Jersey.
The Grand Jury on Tuesday Returned the Indictment, Charging Mr. Wilson with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter.
The Indictment stems from an investigation that began on June 24, 2023, shortly before 1:00 a.m., when Members of The Buena Vista Township Police Department responded to The Intersection of Route 54 and Route 40 in The Township.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Two Motor Vehicle Crash. The Preliminary investigation determined that Mr. Wilson was Recklessly Driving, Speeding, and Driving in an Intoxicated State when he Ran a Red Traffic Signal and Struck a Car that Ms. Roman was a Passenger in. Ms. Roman was Killed in The Crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Following the investigation by Members of The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Fatal Crash Investigation Unit and The Buena Vista Township Police Department, Mr. Wilson was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged.
