HUSBAND AND WIFE FOUND DEAD INSIDE THEIR KEYPORT HOME LAST WEEK RULED MURDER-SUICIDE

KEYPORT, NJ.- According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago, a Husband, and Wife who were found Dead inside their Keyport, New Jersey Home last week died as a result of a Murder-Suicide.
During the Morning Hours on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Members of The Keyport Police Department responded to a Home on Chingarora Avenue in Keyport after receiving a request to Conduct a Welfare Check. Upon arrival, Police Officers made entry into The Home and Discovered the Bodies of Ekaterina Kalyapina, 37, and her Husband, Ilya Gagin, 39, both deceased.
Police Officers also found Two Small Dogs inside the Home, unharmed. The Monmouth County S.P.C.A. was notified and took the Dogs into their care.
A subsequent Autopsy performed by The Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Office determined that the Deaths were the result of a Murder-Suicide.
