32-YEAR-OLD CONVICTED FELON AGAIN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

TEANECK, NJ.- A previously convicted 32-Year-Old Hackensack, New Jersey man who was Returned to New Jersey State Prison for Violating the Terms of his Parole last year, was Charged on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, with Possessing over 40,000 Digital Files of Child Pornography.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Thursday, February 9, 2023, Officers from The New Jersey State Parole Board contacted Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crime Unit regarding a Parolee who Violated the Terms of his Release and was believed to be in Possessing of Child Pornography. Rahvae Richards, 32, of Hackensack, New Jersey. Richards, who was Paroled in October 2021 was Taken into Custody on February 9, 2023, by New Jersey State Parole Officers.
Detectives of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crime Unit conducted an Extensive and Thorough Investigation of Mr. Rahvae's Electronic Devices, which Uncovered that Richards used The Internet to View, Download, and Possess 42,142 Digital Images Depicting Nude and or Sexual Explicit Prepubescent and Pubescent Children.
Accordingly, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Richards was Served with a Complaint Warrant at Southwoods State Prison on The Charge of Second Degree Possession of Child Pornography.
Once released from New Jersey State Prison, Richards will be transferred to The Bergen County Jail where he will remain pending the Resolution of The Charge in Bergen County Superior Court.
