MERCER COUNTY HOMICIDE TASK FORCE IS CONTINUING TO INVESTIGATE A FATAL STABBING

TRENTON, NJ.- Detectives of The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The Trenton Police Department are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding The Fatal Stabbing of a man, who was found Early Tuesday Morning inside an Abandoned Apartment in Trenton, New Jersey.
According to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, shortly after 2:30 a.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call Reporting an Unresponsive man at The Kingsbury Square Low-Rise Apartments in The City of Trenton.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located an Adult Man who had sustained Multiple Life-Threatening Stab Wounds. The man was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
During the initial investigation, a person of interest was detained at the scene.
