Berlin Township Man Charged With Sexual Assaulting Two Women

BERLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay reported, that a 26-Year-Old Berlin Township, New Jersey man has been Taken into Custody and Charged with The Multiple Vicious Sexual and Physical Assaults of Two Women Inside a Shed on the Property where he Resides.


     On Wednesday, March 7, 2024, The Berlin Township Police Department received a 911 Emergency Call from a Woman Reporting that she had been Sexually Assaulted and Strangled her on Separate Occasions by a man she was acquainted with, late last year.



     An ensuing investigation determined that Brandon C. Fickenscher, 26, of Berlin Township, New Jersey, had Sexually and Physically Assaulted the woman in Berlin Township in December 2023. Additionally, Detectives uncovered that Fickenscher had Strangled the same woman in an Apartment in Lindenwold in November 2022.


     As the investigation was continuing, on Thursday, March 8, 2024, a Second Woman, who also was acquainted with Fickenscher, disclosed to Detectives that she had also been Sexually Assaulted by Fickenscher in Berlin Township in February 2024. In both cases, Fickenscher is accused of tying up the women in a Shed on The Property where he Resides before Sexually Assaulting them.


     Accordingly, on Thursday, March 8, 2024, Mr. Fickenscher was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged with Two Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Third Degree Criminal Restraint; Third Degree Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon; Third Degree Aggravated Assault; and Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.


     Fickenscher was Arrested at his Berlin Township Residence. He was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Camden County Correctional Facility pending Future Court Proceedings in Camden County Superior Court.


     Additionally, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Fickenscher was Arrested at The Camden County Correctional Facility for The Lindenwold Case with Two Counts of Second Degree Aggravated Assault; and One Count of Third Degree Aggravated Assault.
