48-YEAR-OLD CAMDEN MAN SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES SUSTAINED IN LAST YEARS ASSAULT ROBBERY

CAMDEN, NJ.- Camden County Authorities have elevated their investigation into a January 2023 incident, after a 48-Year-Old Camden City, New Jersey man has tragically lost his nearly 14-Month battle to stay alive on Monday, from injuries he sustained in a Savage Beating and Robbery on a Camden City Street.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on January 13, 2023, shortly after 9:00 p.m., Members of The Camden County Police Department and Emergency Medical Service Personnel responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an Unconscious Man in the area of Baird Boulevard and Langham Avenue in Camden City.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found the man, later identified as Luis A. Santos, 48, of Camden City, New Jersey unconscious after being Savagely Beating during what Authorities said was a Robbery. Mr. Santos was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital where he remained for 416 Days, until Monday, March 4, 2024, Mr. Santos sadly succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly before 9:00 p.m.
The investigation remains active and ongoing and is now actively being investigated as a Homicide.
