BREAKING NEWS: Paterson New Jersey Shooting Investigation

21-YEAR-OLD PATERSON MAN INJURED AS GUNFIRE ERUPTS LAST NIGHT IN PATERSON NEW JERSEY

     "Passaic County Authorities Are Continuing To Search For The Gunman Who Shot A Man On Monday Night."

PATERSON, NJ.- Gunfire Erupted Last Night on a Paterson, New Jersey Street leaving a 21-Year-Old Paterson Man Hospitalized after being Struck by Gunshots, in the area of 17th Avenue and Market Street.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Monday, February 19, 2024, at around 8:10 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting Shots Fired in the area of Madison Avenue and Market Street in The City of Paterson.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers were unable to locate any evidence of a Shooting or a Victim. Within minutes, The Paterson Police Department was notified that a 21-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man, had arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking Treatment for Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wounds. 


     Police Officers were dispatched to The Medical Center, and upon interviewing the man, Police Officers learned that he had been Shot in the area of 17th Avenue and Market Street in Paterson. Police Officers found evidence of a Shooting at The Location.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
