FOLLOWING A DOMESTIC DISPUTE A 53-YEAR-OLD BLAIRSTOWN MAN CHARGED WITH 35 FELONY COUNTS

BLAIRSTOWN, NJ.- Following a Domestic Dispute, a 53-Year-Old Blairstown, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody and Charged with 35 Felony Counts in connection with a Domestic Violence incident that led Police Officers to uncover a Cache of Illegal Weapons, including Assault Rifles and Numerous Ghost Guns.
According to Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Members of The Blairstown Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Domestic Violence Incident at Mohican Road Home in Blairstown.
Upon arrival, Police Officers Arrested and Charged William Pollard, 53, of Blairstown, Act of Assault pursuant to The Domestic Violence Act. The Victim obtained a Temporary Restraining Order which was Served on Mr. Pollard. Due to the issuance of a Restraining Order, any Firearms in The House would have to be Surrendered. Police Officers removed Numerous Weapons from Mr. Pollard's Residence, including several Illegal Firearms, Jigs for Modifying Firearms, Extended Magazines, and Silencers.
Following these Discovers, a Court Authorized Search Warrant was Executed on the Residence. The Search uncovered Additional Unlawful Weapons, Tools for Manufacturing or Modifying Firearms, including the means to Create Automatic, and or Machine Guns, Weapons without Serial Numbers, and or Ghost Guns containing no Serial Numbers. Numerous Silencers, both Homemade and some Purchased were found.
In Total, Police Officers recovered 8 Fully Automatic Assault Rifles, some without Serial Numbers. In addition, 4 Ghost Handguns were located, 49 High Capacity Magazines, 5 Silencers, 5 Jigs for Modifying Firearms, and 2 Auto Sear Pins. Two of The Weapons were found Underneath the Desk of a Child who was living in the home.
Accordingly, Mr. Pollard was Charged with One Count of Third Degree Aggravated Assault; Third Degree Criminal Restraint; Third Degree Terroristic Threats; and 32 Second, Third, and Fourth Degree Weapons Offenses. Further, The Warren County Prosecutor's Office Expects Federal Gun Charges to be Filed.
