WEST ORANGE, NJ.- As Gun Violence continues to spiral out of control throughout New Jersey. Essex County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding yesterday's Fatal Shooting of a man in West Orange, New Jersey.
According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, reported, on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at around 12:22 p.m., Members of The West Orange Police Department responded to a report of a Shooting on The 100 Block of Lakeside Avenue in West Orange.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found an unidentified man, unresponsive from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time, as Detectives continue to search for a suspect.
