Bloomfield, New Jersey Man Charged With Selling Drugs That Killed A Man

43-YEAR-OLD BLOOMFIELD MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH THE FATAL OVERDOSE OF A MAN

     "Alberto Delgado Was Charged Last Friday With Selling A Fatal Dose Of Narcotics That Killed Kuke Revell At A Lyndhurst Hotel."

LYNDHURST, NJ.- Following an Investigation, a 43-Year-Old Bloomfield, New Jersey man was charged last Friday, in connection with The Fatal Overdose of a 54-Year-Old Jersey City, New Jersey man that Occurred in November 2023 inside a Lyndhurst, New Jersey Hotel Room.



     According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, shortly before 12:00 p.m., Members of The Lyndhurst Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an Unresponsive man at The Winslow Motor Hotel located on Rutherford Avenue in Lyndhurst.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Luke Revell, 54, of Jersey City, New Jersey, Dead inside a Room from an Apparent Drug Overdose.


     Following a Months-Long Investigation by Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force and The Lyndhurst Police Department Determined that Alberto Delgado, 43, of Bloomfield, New Jersey, Sold The Fatal Dose of Narcotics to Mr. Revell ultimately Causing his Death.


     Accordingly, on Friday, February 23, 2024, Mr. Delgado was Taken into Custody in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and Formally Charged with One Count of Strict Liability for a Drug-Induced Death; First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Secon Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 Feet of a Public Park; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 1000 Feet of School Property; Third Degree Distribution of Cocaine; and Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Fentanyl.


     Mr. Delgado was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
