BREAKING: Two Paterson, New Jersey Teens Charged In Shooting

TWO PATERSON TEENS CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH THE OCTOBER 25, 2023 SHOOTING OF ANOTHER TEEN

     "Two Boys, A 15-Year-Old & A 16-Year-Old Have Been Charged For The October Halpine Street Shooting Of A 14-Year-Old Boy."

PATERSON, NJ.- According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes that following an investigation, on Thursday, a 15-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey Boy and a 16-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey Boy were Taken into Custody and Charged in connection with the October 25, 2023, Shooting of a 14-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey Boy.

     The Two Teen Boys have been Charged with Acts of Juvenile Delinquency that are the equivalent of First Degree Attempted Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.  

     According to Authorities, on October 25, 2023, Paterson Police Officers responded to a 911 Emergency Call responded to a report of Shots Fired in the area of Halpine and North 2nd Streets in The City of Paterson. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 14-Year-Old Boy, who had sustained a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The Boy was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment and was later released.
