BREAKING: Paterson, New Jersey Man Charged In Stabbing Investigation

ON MONDAY A PATERSON MAN SURRENDERS TO AUTHORITIES AFTER BEING NAMED AS A SUSPECT IN A STABBING 

     "40-Year-Old Paterson Man Turns Himself Into The Paterson Police Department In Connection With The January 9th Stabbing Of A Man."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Monday, January 22, 2024, a 40-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man surrendered to Authorities after being named as the Suspect in the January 9, 2024, Stabbing of a 39-Year-Old Paterson man.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Stanley Londono, 40, of Paterson, New Jersey, was Formally Charged on Monday with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Aggravated Assault; Third Degree Aggravated Assault; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.



     Mr. Londono was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Passaic County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Passaic County Superior Court.


     The Charges stem from an incident when on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at approximately 7:12 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Stabbing at 41 Sherman Avenue in The City of Paterson.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a victim, a 39-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man, who suffered Multiple Non-Life Threatening Stab Wounds. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.


     An ensuing investigation by Passaic County Authorities was able to Identify Mr. Londono as a Suspect and the Individual responsible for The Stabbing. After learning of The Charges, Mr. Londono surrendered at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024, at The Paterson Police Department.
