FOLLOWING AN INVESTIGATION A 61-YEAR-OLD MAN CURRENTLY INCARCERATED HAS BEEN CHARGED

MONTVALE, NJ.- Following an ongoing investigation, a previously convicted 61-Year-Old Former Montvale, New Jersey, who is currently incarcerated in Northern State Prison after Violating the Terms of his Parole in July 2023, has now been Additionally Charged with Possession of Child Pornography.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, Detectives of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit were contacted by New Jersey State Parole Officers regarding a Parolee who Violated the Terms of his Release and was believed to be in Possession of Child Pornography. Robert Setnizky, 61, of Montvale, New Jersey was Taken into Custody on July 13, 2023, in Montvale by Parole Officers and returned to State Prison.
Subsequently, Detectives of The Bergen County Cyber Crimes Unit conducted an investigation. After Detectives reviewed the Electronic Devices of Mr. Setnizky, it was determined that Setnitzky Viewed, Downloaded, and Possessed Digital Images Depicting Nude and Sexually Explicit Images of Prepubescent and Pubescent Children.
Accordingly, on January 5, 2024, Mr. Setnizky was Charged with Third Degree Possession of Child Pornography. Setnizky was Served with a Complaint Warrant at Northern State Prison, where he remains incarcerated on The Parole Violation.
