ATLANTIC COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING THE DEATHS OF TWO MEN FOUND DEAD AN HOUR APART ON NEW YEAR'S DAY

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds reported that on Monday, January 1, 2024, Members of The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Atlantic City Police Department responded to Two Separate 911 Emergency Calls reporting that a deceased man had been found at both locations.
On Monday, January 1, 2024, at 6:15 a.m., Members of The Atlantic City Police Department responded to The Unit Block of South California Avenue in Atlantic City on a report of a man Bleeding. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Vincent O'Brien, III, 50, unresponsive. Mr. O'Brien was immediately transported to Atlantic City Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
Again on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 7:34 a.m., Members of The Atlantic City Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a man suffering from Stab Wounds in the area of Michigan Avenue and Boardwalk in Atlantic City. Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a man, later identified as Nazir Cintron, 22, Dead from Multiple Stab Wounds.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time. Police have determined that the Two Deaths are not connected.
