AN EARLY FRIDAY MORNING CRASH LEAVES ONE TEEN DEAD AND TWO TEENS INJURED

NEWARK, NJ.- An Early Friday Morning Joyride turns Deadly for a Group of Teens when the Stolen Vehicle they were Driving Crashed into a Garbage Truck in Newark, New Jersey, Killing One, Hospitalizing Two, and One Fleeing the scene on foot.
According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, on Friday, November 10, 2023, just minutes after 4:30 a.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to The Intersection of Central Avenue and 1st Street in The City of Newark on a report of a Serious Motor Vehicle Collision involving a Car and a Garbage Truck.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located the Crash. The Car, which was later discovered to be Stolen, contained Four Teens. One of the Teens had Fled on Foot, Two Teens were immediately transported to University Hospital for Treatment. Another Teen was Killed in the Crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene at 4:47 a.m. The Driver of The Garbage Truck was uninjured in the collision.
