40-YEAR-OLD TRENTON MAN WAS STABBED TO DEATH LAST NIGHT ON A TRENTON STREET

     " Mercer County Authorities Are Investigating Last Night's Stabbing Death Of Corey Jones."

TRENTON, NJ.- A 40-Year-Old Trenton, New Jersey man tragically fell victim to another act of senseless violence last night on a New Jersey Capital City Street.

     Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that on Thursday, October 20, 2023, at approximately 9:00p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an Unresponsive Man in the area of Cross Street and Kersey Alley in Trenton.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Corey Jones, 40, of Trenton, New Jersey on the Ground on The Sidewalk suffering from Multiple Stab Wounds. Mr. Jones was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later. 

     No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
