ESSEX COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING THE DEATH OF AN 82-YEAR-OLD MAN FOUND DEAD ON A MILLBURN STREET

MILLBURN, NJ.- Essex County Authorities are looking for answers into the Cause and Manner of Death of an 82-Year-Old Union, New Jersey man who was found Dead Friday Night on a quiet Millburn, New Jersey Street.
According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II on Friday, October 13, 2023, at approximately 9:04 p.m., Members of The Millburn Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an Injured Man on The 100 Block of East Willow Street in Millburn, New Jersey.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified, as Shigeru Takeuchi, 82, of Union, New Jersey, Unresponsive on The Sidewalk. Mr. Takeuchi was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene at 9:30 p.m. An Autopsy will be performed by The Essex County Regional Medical Examiner's Office to determine the Cause and Manner of Death.
