ENGLEWOOD, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following an investigation a 49-Year-Old Clifton, New Jersey man previously Charged with Sexually Assaulting a Child was again Arrested and Charged with Sexually Assaulting a Second Child in Englewood, New Jersey.
On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Esmond Nimblett, 49, of Clifton, New Jersey was Charged with The Sexual Assualt of a Child who was between the Ages of 13 and 16. Following an investigation by The Bergen County Special Victims and Detectives of The Englewood Police Department. As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, August 17, 2023, a Second Child Victim was Identified, and the determined Mr. Nimblett Sexually Assaulted the Second Child who is between the Ages of 13 and 16 on more than one occasion in Englewood, New Jersey.
Accordingly, on Thursday, October 5, 2023, Mr. Nimblett was Arrested in Hackensack, New Jersey, and Formally Charged with Four Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Two Counts of Fourth Degree Aggravated Sexual Contact.
Mr. Nimblett was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Bergen County State Superior Court.
