BREAKING: Camden, New Jersey Shooting Homicide Investigation

ONE MAN KILLED AND A WOMAN HOSPITALIZED IN A FRIDAY NIGHT SHOOTING IN CAMDEN

     " Detectives Are Continuing Their Investigation Into The Circumstances Surrounding A Shooting Friday Night Shooting That Killed 1 & Left Another Injured."

CAMDEN, NJ.- Detectives are continuing to Search for a Suspect in a Friday Night Shooting that Claimed the Life of a 33-Year-Old Camden, New Jersey Man, and left a 32-Year-Old Camden, New Jersey Woman Hospitalized from Multiple Gunshot Wounds.


     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Friday, October 27, 2023, at approximately 7:58 p.m., Members of The Camden County Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call located at The 2800 Block of Hull Road in Camden on a report of an individual being Shot.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found Two Victims, Akeem Jenkins, 33, of Camden, New Jersey, and a 32-Year-Old Camden Woman, both suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. The Two were immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where Mr. Jenkins succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later. The Woman was treated for Non-Life-Threatening injuries and was released from the hospital.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made at this time.
