SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ.- Yesterday, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that a 22-Year-Old Pennsville, New Jersey man was Arrested last Thursday for the August 2022 Sexual Assault of a Woman in South Hackensack, New Jersey.

     On Monday, August 1, 2023, The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office was contacted by a Woman who Alleged that She was Sexually Assaulted in South Hackensack, New Jersey. An ensuing investigation by Members of The Bergen County Specials Victims Unit in conjunction with Detectives of The South Hackensack Police Department were able to determine that Austin Walker, 22, of Pennsville, New Jersey, Sexually Assaulted the Woman in South Hackensack, New Jersey.

     Accordingly, on Thursday, October 5, 2023, Mr. Walker was Taken into Custody in Pennsville, New Jersey, and Formally Charged with Three Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault. Walker was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings.
