PATERSON, NJ.- A 47-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man has become the Fifth Person Fatally Shot in less than Two Weeks, as Gun Violence returns with a Vengeance to Paterson, New Jersey Streets.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Today, October 12, 2023, at approximately 1:16 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting in the area of Summer Street and Hamilton Avenue in Paterson.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 47-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man, Unresponsive from a Gunshot Wound to the back of his head. The man was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
