BREAKING: Newark, New Jersey Homicide Investigation Continues

ESSEX COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR A SUSPECT IN FATAL SHOOTING 

     " Detectives Are Searching For A Suspect For Last Wednesday Night's Shooting Death Of A 49-Year-Old Newark, New Jersey Man."

NEWARK, NJ.- Acting Essex County Prosecutor reported that Detectives of The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force continue to investigate the Fatal Shooting of a 49-Year-Old Newark, New Jersey Man.

     On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at approximately 9:17 p.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting in the area of The 100 Block of Goodwin Avenue in Newark. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Andre Shoulars, 49, suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Scoulars was immediately transported to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased at 9:50 p.m.
