BREAKING: 2 Dead & 3 Injured In Paterson Mass Shooting

AN EARLY MORNING PATERSON SHOOTING HAS LEFT TWO DEAD AND THREE HOSPITALIZED

     " Passaic County Authorities Are Investigating The Circumstance Surrounding Today's Early Morning Shooting That Killed 2 & Injured 3."

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Detectives are actively investigating a Shooting that has left Two Paterson residents Dead and Three Hospitalized after being Struck by Gunfire early this morning in Paterson, New Jersey.


     On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at approximately 2:39 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Jersey and Oliver Streets on a report of a Shooting that had just occurred.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found Two Victims suffering from Life-Threatening Gunshot Wounds. The Two, a 26-Year-Old Paterson man and a 17-Year-Old Boy were immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center where they succumbed to their injuries and were subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later. 


     Two additional Victims, a 19-Year-Old Paterson man, and a 24-Year-Old Paterson man had arrived by way of a private vehicle at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for Gunshot Wounds. A Fifth Victim, a 19-Year-Old Paterson man arrived at Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment of a Gunshot Wound.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made as Police continue to search for a suspect or suspects in connection with this Shooting.
