PASSAIC COUNTY AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING A SATURDAY MORNING FATAL SHOOTING

     " Detectives Are Continuing Their Investigation Into The Shooting Death Of A Paterson Man."

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Fatal Shooting of a 34-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man.

     On Saturday, May 6, 2023, at approximately 1:14 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East Main and Hillman Streets in Paterson on a report of a man being Shot. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 34-Year-Old Paterson man, suffering from a Gunshot Wound to his Chest.

     The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made.
