BREAKING: Union City, New Jersey Man Charged

30-YEAR-OLD UNION CITY MAN NABBED WITH 3 KILOGRAMS OF COCAINE

     " Following An Investigation, Mervin J. Menier Was Charged With First Degree Possession With Intent To Distribute Cocaine."

HACKENSACK, NJ.- Yesterday, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following a Narcotics Investigation a 30-Year-Old Union City man was taken into Custody and Charged with Possessing Three Kilograms of Cocaine.


     On Friday, May 12, 2023, while conducting a Narcotics Investigation, Detectives of The Bergen County Narcotics Task Force conducted a Traffic Stop on a Motor Vehicle as it was Driving through Bergen County, New Jersey. During the investigation, Detectives determined that the driver, Mervin J. Menier was Transporting Three Kilograms of Cocaine in a Hidden Compartment in the Vehicle.


     As a result, Mr. Menier was Arrested at the scene and Charged with One Count of First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Mr. Menier was Processed on the Charge and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings.
