Paterson, New Jersey Shootings

IN 9 HOURS 3 PEOPLE ARE INJURED IN 3 SEPARATE PATERSON, NEW JERSEY SHOOTINGS

     " Passaic County Authorities Are Actively Investigating 3 Shootings That Left 3 People Hospitalized."

PATERSON, NJ.- Three People were Hospitalized in Three Separate Paterson Shootings that occurred overnight between Friday and Saturday Morning.


     Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported, that on Friday, April 7, 2023, Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 23rd Street and 4th Avenue in Paterson on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 30-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man who had sustained Multiple Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wounds. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment. 


     In less than one hour, On Friday, April 7, 2023, at approximately 11:32 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Main and Ward Streets in Paterson on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment. 


     Then again, on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at approximately 7:33 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Park Avenue and Carroll Street on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Crime Scene but no Victim was located. A short time later, a 24-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man arrived at Saint Joseph's University Hospital, seeking treatment for Multiple Gunshot Wounds. The man remains Hospitalized in Critical Condition.


     No Arrests have been made at this time. The circumstances surrounding all Three Shootings are being actively investigated.
