PHILADELPHIA MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER AND WEAPONS OFFENSES FOR THE FATAL SHOOTING

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Camden County Authorities reported that a 26-Year-Old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania man has been Arrested and Charged in connection with the Robbery and Murder of a 28-Year-Old Millville, New Jersey man that occurred on February 22, 2023.
On February 22, 2023, at approximately 3:05 a.m., Members of The Gloucester Township Police Department responded to The 800 Block of The Black Horse in Gloucester Township on a report of an individual being Shot. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Tarik Green, 28, of Millville, New Jersey suffering from an apparent Gunshot Wound.
Mr. Green was immediately transported to Jefferson Hospital in Stratford, New Jersey where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased at 4:43 a.m.
After a thorough and swift-moving investigation by Members of The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit in conjunction with Detectives of The Gloucester Police Department were able to identify Mr. Banks as a Suspect and the individual responsible for the Robbery and Shooting Death of Mr. Green.
Accordingly, Mr. Banks was Charged with One Count of First Degree Felony Murder; First Degree Armed Robbery; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and a Warrant was Issued.
Kacy Banks, 26, was Arrested on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in Philadelphia by Members of The United States Marshals Service, New York/ New Jersey Regional Task Force. Mr. Banks is currently incarcerated in The Philadelphia City Jail pending Extradition to New Jersey.
