Weekend Paterson Shootings

TWO SEPARATE SHOOTINGS IN PATERSON INJURES FOUR

     " 2 Women & 2 Men Are Struck By Gunfire In 2 10th Avenue Shootings."

PATERSON, NJ,- Passaic County Authorities are investigating a pair of Shootings that occurred on 10th Avenue in Paterson that injured Two Women and a Man hospitalized.


     On Saturday, January 28, 2023, at approximately 11:12 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 10th Avenue and East 26th Street in Paterson on a report of Shots Fired.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a potential crime scene and a 36-Year-Old Paterson Woman and a 37-Year-Old Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Woman who both sustained non-life threatening Gunshot Wounds. Both Women were immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment. A short time later a 44-Year-Old Paterson Man arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-life threatening Gunshot Wound. 


     In less than five hours, on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at approximately 3:45 a.m., a 19-Year-Old Paterson man arrived at Saint Joseph's University Hospital seeking treatment for a non-life threatening Gunshot Wound. An initial investigation by Members of The Paterson Police Department determined that the Man was Struck by Gunfire in the area of 10th and Belmont Avenues in Paterson.
