     " Passaic County Authorities Continue To Investigate The Circumstance Surrounding The Shooting Of A 24-Year-Old Man."

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Authorities are continuing to investigate the Shooting of a 24-Year-Old Rahway, New Jersey man that occurred early Saturday morning in the area of Carroll Street and Godwin Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey.

     On Saturday, February 11, 2023, at approximately 2:57 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Carroll Street and Godwin Avenue on a report of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.

     While canvassing the area Police Officers were notified that a 24-Year-Old Rahway, New Jersey man had arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-life threatening Gunshot Wound. The preliminary investigation by authorities have determined that the Shooting occurred in the area of Carroll Street and Godwin Avenue.
