     " An Early Sunday Morning Shooting Has Claimed The Life Of 17-Year-Old Boy & Has Left A 17-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized."

BRIDGETON, NJ.- An early Sunday morning Shooting in Bridgeton, New Jersey has tragically claimed the life of a 17-Year-Old Boy and has left a 17-Year-Old Girl hospitalized in stable condition, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.

     On Sunday, January 29, 2023, at approximately 12:37 a.m., Members of The Bridgeton Police Department responded to The 300 Block of North Pearl Street on a report of Shots Fired. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 17-Year-Old Boy unresponsive from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. The Boy was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. Within minutes Police Officers located a 17-Year-Old Girl suffering from a Gunshot Wound. The Girl was immediately Airlifted to Cooper University Hospital for treatment, where she remains in stable condition.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made at this time. Detectives are pursuing numerous leads.
