HACKENSACK, NJ.- The man killed in The Saturday Afternoon Barber Shop Shooting has been identified as 28-Year-Old Vidal R. Nieves.
On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Members of The Hackensack Police Department responded to the area of Essex and Lehigh Streets in Hackensack, New Jersey on a report of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers found two men, both having sustained Gunshot Wounds.
Both men were immediately transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where one of the men, later identified as Vidal R. Nieves, 28, of Maywood, New Jersey succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased. The other man was treated for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound.
No Arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
