" 45-Year Old Totowa Man Grazed By Gunfire While Sitting In A Car In The Area Of Franklin & Mercer Streets In Paterson."

PATERSON, NJ.- Today, while seated in a car, a 45-Year-Old Totowa man was struck by Gunfire. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Paterson Police Chief Bert Ribeiro announced that on November 15, 2022, at just around noon Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Franklin and Mercer Streets in Paterson on a report of Shots Fired.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a man, who had sustained a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The man was immediately treated at the scene and refused further medical treatment.
The preliminary investigation determined that based on the crime scene, the man was seated in a motor vehicle when he was struck by Gunfire.
No Arrests have been made. The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released by authorities.
