ONE KILLED ONE INJURED IN LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON SHOOTING IN HACKENSACK NEW JERSEY

     " A Shooting In The Area Of Essex & Lehigh Streets In Hackensack Has Claimed The Life Of One Man & Has Left Another Man Hospitalized.

HACKENSACK, NJ.- On Saturday, November 12, 2022, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Hackensack Police Department are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding yesterday's late afternoon Shooting that has claimed the life of one man and has left another man hospitalized.

     On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Members of The Hackensack Police Department responded to the area of Essex and Lehigh Streets in Hackensack, New Jersey on a report of Shots Fired.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located two men having sustained Gunshot Wounds. Both men were immediately transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where one of the men succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later. The other man was treated for a Non Life Threatening Injury.

     No Arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains active and ongoing, and is being conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Michael Antista.
