Fugitive Wanted In Camden County Apprehended

FUGITIVE WANTED ON NARCOTICS CHARGES APPREHENDED IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 

     " Kendall Almanzar Wanted On Charges Stemming From A 2018 Narcotics Investigation Was Returned To New Jersey By U.S. Marshals On Wednesday."

CAMDEN, NJ.- On Monday, November 28, 2022, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay announced a Fugitive Wanted out of Camden County, New Jersey on Narcotics Offenses, who fled in November 2018 has been Apprehended in The Dominican Republic and Returned to New Jersey on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 by Members Of The U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.



     Kendall Almanzar, 37, of Camden City, New Jersey originally Arrested on May 16, 2018, by Members of The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Unit. At that time Mr. Almanzar was Charged with First Degree Possession with The Intent to Distribute Cocaine; Third Degree Possession with The Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within a 1000 Feet of School Property; and Third Degree Possession with The Intent to Distribute Cocaine Within 500 Feet of  Public Housing or Park. Following his Arrest in May 2018, Mr. Almanzar was released from Jail and Fled. A Warrant was issued for his Arrest and on November 13, 2018, Almanzar was added to Camden County's Most Wanted List.


     An investigation by Detectives located Mr. Almanzar in The Dominican Republic. On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Almanzar was taken into custody by Members of The U.S Marshals Service and returned to New Jersey and lodged in The Camden County Jail. Mr. Almanzar has also been Charged as a Fugitive from Justice on Charges of Murder out of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
