MERCER COUNTY HOMICIDE TASK FORCE CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE A SUNDAY FATAL SHOOTING
" Detectives Continue To Investigate The Circumstance Surrounding The Shooting Death Of A 33-Year-Old Trenton Man."

TRENTON, NJ.- On Monday, October 10, 2022, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Members of The Trenton Police Department are continuing their investigation into the Shooting Death of a Trenton man.
On Sunday, October 9, 2022, at approximately 3:10 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a Multiple Shotspotter Activation located in The First Block of Ewing Avenue in Trenton.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found an adult man, later identified as Daquan Brown, 33, of Trenton, New Jersey lying on the ground in Kersey Ally suffering from a Gunshot Wound to his shoulder. Mr. Brown was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased.
